“Oriental Beauty Tea” Originates From

Oriental Beauty Tea, also known as Pomfong tea, is named after its distinctive white-tipped appearance. According to legend, this tea was brought to England by merchants and presented to Queen Elizabeth II to taste. The queen was deeply impressed by the delicious and unique flavor of this tea and bestowed upon it the elegant name "Oriental Beauty Tea." Although there is currently no evidence to prove the truthfulness of this story, the graceful name "Oriental Beauty" has taken root in people's minds and become the representative of this tea."

Smaller Green Leafhopper

The Oriental Beauty Tea is made from the Qingxin Damao cultivar and we use natural farming methods to manage our tea gardens. Especially, the tea leaves need to be picked from the tender buds that have been bitten by the Smaller green leafhopper in order to release the wonderful flavor of the tea. The brewed tea has a fragrant and elegant aroma like that of a beautiful woman. The tea soup is a bright amber color, with a sweet and mellow taste and rich layers of floral, fruity, honey, and saliva-like flavors.

Recommended Brewing Method

White-Tip Oolong tea is suitable for brewing in any tea utensil, porcelain is the best choice. The temperature of the water should be about 85°C, brew the first brew for about 60 seconds, the second brew for about 50 seconds, the third brew for about 40 seconds, and adjust the intensity according to your preference after the fourth brew.

Place of Origin

Origin The tea plantation is located in Emei Township, Hsinchu County, Taiwan, with elevations ranging from 400 to 600 meters above sea level. The air here is clean and pure, filled with moist and abundant sunshine. These innate natural conditions attract Smaller green leafhopper insects to the tea plantation. Only through the piercing and sucking action of the Smaller green leafhopper on the tea leaves can the wonderful flavor of the tea be released, creating a tea that is intoxicating and satisfying.
